Ex-Apple employee turns to Palm.

Palm poached Apple’s Rubinstein to join the device manufacturer during its make-or-break time. Since becoming CEO, he’s seen the Pre launch to rapturous applause.

A second device using Palm’s new OS, webOS, was announced in September – the Pixi is a scaled-down Pre which will be cheaper in price and more relevant in the current economic climate.

More handsets using webOS are expected, but for now Rubinstein is keeping quiet. He obviously learnt a good few tricks during his tenure at Apple.
