Friendly Firefox record breaker.

Nitot’s helped over 300 million internet users have a better online experience through the launch of Firefox 3, yet he’s remained incredibly humble.

He told us his proudest moment at Mozilla was receiving the Guinness World Record certificate in London, after setting a new record for the most software downloads in 24 hours with Firefox 3 in July 2008. “Who hasn’t dreamt of setting a world record? I owe a big thank you to the eight million people who downloaded it on the day it was released”.

Mozilla’s just released Firefox version 3.5, an act which is “always a big milestone” for the company as it “improves, becomes faster and gets better”. They’ve also outlined the next future developments for the open source web browser, including, yes, a mobile browser.
