Eee PC boss worth millions.
ASUS struck gold in 2007 with the Eee brand of netbooks, and since then Shih’s seen over 30 various models of netbooks hit store shelves.
With Acer forecasting 40-45 million sales of netbooks in 2010 globally, the sector looks set to rocket, with netbooks proving to be a reliable second computer for an individual, particularly when on the move.
ASUS has expanded its Eee brand to include an all-in-one computing experience; keyboard with inbuilt screen; and the Eee Box which provided a budget PC tower to be coupled with a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
