Find him on the TV, radio, internet...
The Beeb’s primary tech hound, Cellan-Jones’s breaking news and reviews have been found on the TV, radio and online (through the BBC News website, or his dot.life blog) since 1981. Well, maybe just the TV and radio…
An iPhone user, Cellan-Jones is genuinely interested in all things tech-related, but in particular the mobile sector. In August he broke a story on voice-to-text company Spinvox using call centres to translate voicemails (as opposed to computer technology, as they originally boasted), and now they’re in financial dire straits with the company up for sale, albeit with a valuation 90 per cent less than before Cellan-Jones started sniffing around them.
