With World of Warcraft proving the world’s most popular MMORPG with over 12 million subscribers, Morhaime has some serious numbers on his hands. The last expansion pack, Wrath of the Lith King sold 2.8m copies within 24 hours; making it the fastest selling PC game of all time.

Whilst the Houser brothers trumped Morhaime with 3.6m sales in the first 24 hours of GTA IV’s release, Morhaime isn’t too bothered. He’s cornered the PC market, which suffers from a deluge of flight simulator games and strategy titles such as Command & Conquer.

Morhaime has a large following thanks to his position at Blizzard, and was immortalised in the South Park episode ‘Make Love, Not Warcraft’, from 2006.
